Delete your account

You can delete your Otti account and the data linked to it at any time. Here’s how.

Delete in the app (fastest)

  1. Open Otti and go to the Raft tab.
  2. Scroll down and tap Delete my raft data.
  3. Confirm. Your online account is deleted right away.

This permanently deletes your anonymous account, your otter’s Raft profile and friend code, your streak and step count, your friend connections, and all reactions and gifts you sent or received. Your friends will no longer see your otter.

Your data on your phone

Your otter, journal, mood check-ins and progress are stored only on your phone. To remove them, delete the Otti app from your device.

Ask us to delete it

If you can’t open the app, email hello@ottiapp.com with the subject “Delete my Otti account”. Include your otter’s name and your six-character friend code (shown on the Raft tab) so we can find your account. We’ll delete it within 30 days and confirm by email.

To remove your email from the beta list, email us from that address and we’ll take you off.

What we keep

We don’t keep copies of deleted Raft data. Routine backups held by our database provider are overwritten on their normal schedule.
